Sara is the author of The Magic Thief and The Magic Thief: Lost. She holds a PhD in English literature and has taught honors seminars on fantasy and science fiction literature at the University of Iowa. She not only writes about dragons, but has a large collection of dragon action figures. Sarah is married to John Prineas, a physics professor, which gives her lots of ideas when she’s writing about magic prisoning devices and pyrotechnics. They are the parents of Maud and Theo.
