What Would You Ask an Animal Communicator?

by Chamaigne Montana on January 18, 2010

I’m looking forward to this week’s interview with Michael Murphy, spiritual memoirist and animal communicator.

His memoir is probably the easiest to read memoir I’ve ever read, because the memoir itself is an example of a writing technique he teaches where you use seminal experiences to discover your core beliefs.   Each chapter is titled with an insight about life, and the short 2-3 page chapter describes the event that first brought the insight home.  The chapters are in roughly chronological order, so the book as a whole also reads like a smooth life story.

I love memoirs because I hope to write one myself one day.  This will be a particularly good interview for aspiring memoirists to listen to because it teaches this memoir writing technique.

We’ll also be talking with Michael about his Animal Communication book.   This book tells the story of the classes he went through, and it feels almost as if you are there with them, taking the class.  Michael was innovative in incorporating an intuitive writing practice that he learned in some of his Shamanic studies.   Once again, this book acts as a teacher of specific writing exercises, in addition to the subject matter of the book.

Michael has a degree in writing and has taught privately and at the college level for many years.

So, this is your chance to suggest questions for us to ask Michael this Friday, January 22, at 1pm Central!   What would you ask an Animal Communicator?
