Writing team Maika and Maritza Moulite talk with us about their latest book – One of the Good Ones – and about what got them started wring in the first place.
“We had grown up reading a ton of books… because our parents didn’t allow us to watch TV during the week. So we went to the library every weekend, and we would max out the number of books that we could bring home. And because we read so many of them, Maritza and I were like, ‘Why don’t we try to write a book, that we wish we could have had, when we were growing up.’ So that started our journey to wring our first book.”

Its about the people that we deem worthy of missing,… Being a human being on this earth should be enough to be respected, and to be allowed to live without fear of someone killing you, because of the way that you look.
