“Everybody has some kind of trauma. Everybody has some kind of wounding. That’s part of planet Earth.” Nancy Swisher talks about her memoir – The life that woke me up was my own – What can you do when you can’t speak your truth. “I didn’t want to write from a stance of blame. We don’t need more blame in the world….Many times we forget the really amazing memories. Writing is one incredible way to bring back memories.”

When I write, I really write from the voice. I listen really deeply. Sometimes I just start writing and the voice will come. Sometimes the voice isn’t there at all. That’s how I write. I just listen and then I get it down on the page.

In the journey of life, God has a plan for you. In the troubles of life, He has promised to help you. In all of life, He has a love for you which is beyond all human understanding.
